Orthopaedic Casting Tape
This test is used to determine the functional diametral compression strength of cylindrical test specimens formed with synthetic fibreglass polyurethane casting materials. The diametral compression strength, maximum deflection load and peak failure mode are determined. This test is not used to determine cast life or measure bending or other modes of cast failure.
